Google have invented a way to solve this problem and introduced a new technology to world – Gmail Motion.

Gmail motion uses your computer’s camera and special tracking algorithm to interpret physical movements and transform it to actionable commands.

For example, to open an email, make a motion as if you are opening an envelope. To reply, simply point backward with you thumb.
