Over the past decade, advances like touch screen technology have changed the way we interact with personal electronics. However when it comes to email, we still rely on outdated technologies like the keyboard and mouse. Google have invented a way to solve this problem and introduced a new technology to world – Gmail Motion.
Gmail motion uses your computer’s camera and special tracking algorithm to interpret physical movements and transform it to actionable commands.
For example, to open an email, make a motion as if you are opening an envelope. To reply, simply point backward with you thumb.

This move of Google will bring us closer to technology and make us feel like interacting with another person rather than a machine.
Google is planning to launch motion technology for Google Docs as well.
