It seems Fox news Twitter account hacked around 2 AM Eastern time, and went on to claim President Obama was shot twice at an Iowa restaurant. Tweets also says that Obama passed away soon thereafter, and the shooter’s identity was unknown.

“Hacker” is probably a school kid who hijacked @FoxNewPolitics Twitter account and posted a series of messages declaring U.S. President Barack Obama dead on the evening of the Fourth of July, the national day of the United States.

@FoxNewsPolitics has around 33,000 followers. If you are a Twitter user, you can understand how fast tweets spread by ‘retweeting’. The link in the tweet led to another Twitter account, which has since been suspended.’
