There are fresh rumors in the smartphone industry that Samsung is secretly working on 3D mobile phone and planned to launch in this September. The news is broken by Korean website ETnews and is said to be from a reliable source. This new 3D device is code named as Samsung Galaxy 3D and will compete directly with other 3D devices in the market like LG Optimus 3D and HTC EVO 3D.

Samsung’s Galaxy series was a huge success and Samsung Galaxy S2 is currently one of the best Android phone ever built. Samsung is taking this forward to add 3D capabilities to it with few more improvements. According to reports Galaxy 3D will run Android Gingerbread latest version.  Other specifications are 1.2GHz dual core Exynos processor, a 4.3-inch 3D LCD screen and dual 8MP cameras. An HD TV-out as well as a feature to output captured 3D content directly to a 3D compatible TV is also expected on the Samsung Galaxy 3D.

As you read above these are pretty impressive specifications for Galaxy 3D and thus can bring about big change in smartphone market. If Samsung releases Galaxy 3D by this September, it will be iPhone 5′s biggest competitor which is scheduled to release around same time.
