Verizon updated most popular Android tablet – Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G connectivity. 4G is mostly popular for its lightening fast data transfer speed. Although Verizon is going to start shipping 28th July onwards, you can pre-order it now.
This version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will have same Android Honeycomb powered with Tegra2 1 GHz processor. 2.0 MP Front and 3.0 MP rear facing cameras with built in flash would allow you to video chat/call with others and take brilliant pictures. One of the most important things about Tab 10.1 is its support to Adobe Flash Player for an optimum web video experience.
Best part of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is its support of USB connectivity as native feature of Honeycomb. You can extend Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 by connecting almost any computer peripheral including keyboard, mouse, joysticks, pen drives etc.
Unfortunately, the prices are steep: $529.99 for the 16 GB model and $629.99 for the 32 GB model, and that’s with a two-year contract. If you’re willing to pay the price, you’ll be able to choose between three data plans: $30 per month for 2 GB of data, $50 for 5 GB, or $80 per month for 10 GB of data.
Verizon will also offer a Wi-Fi-only version of the device with 16 GB of storage for $499.
