LinkedIn identified latest trends of increasing mobile usage and planned to target those users. iPhone and Android manufacturers are updating their OS with new features/APIs, providing opportunity to app developers to make better apps. LinkedIn’s upgraded app is much faster, simpler and better. The performance upgrade is not only restricted to iPhone and Android but also available to mobile web browsers. LinkedIn mobile website is also upgraded with HTML5 and you can experience it in your smartphone with supporting web browser.

LinkedIn said that most requested feature on mobile app is ‘Groups’. With this upgrade, users can access this feature through mobile app also. You can easily access the list of groups you’re a member of, browse discussions, and exchange information and ideas by starting new discussions or commenting on existing ones.
