Remember the Huawei MediaPad? Back in late June, we reported that Huawei announced its 7-inch MediaPad tablet. The 7-inch slate will be arriving first in Malaysia sometime in October and will head to the US, China, Hong Kong, and Thailand before the end of the year. As for pricing, the device is already available for pre-orders in Singapore listed at the equivalent of $598 SGD ($473 USD).
But why should you wait for this Huawei tablet? Well, it’s going to have some pretty killer specs, a dual core 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display with improve viewing angles and picture quality. The features comes more with a 1.3MP front facing camera and a 5MP rear camera is completed with Auto Focus, Adobe Flash Player, a mini HDMI port, a micro USB 2.0 port, HSPA+ 14.4 Mbps mobile broadband, 802.11n Wi-Fi, battery life over 6 hours, and absolutely Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
The body from the tablet covered aluminium with Black accents. The weight 0.86 pounds or 390g is suitable in portability. It is measure in 0.4 inch or 10.5mm in thinness.
