Sounds like a very good news for developers interested in improving Galaxy S II performances (overclocking, clockworkmod recovery and more) to have a full kernel source code at their disposal. AT&T just announced the launch date of October 2nd, so this makes the code available nearly two weeks before the phone.
While you’ll have to wait (rather impatiently) until October 2nd for the handset’s release, you can start perusing the kernel source code.
