Apple may apparently schedule its traditional media event on Oct 4 at the company headquarters on Infinite Loop in Cupertino, California, instead of the usual venue for Apple’s annual fall event i.e. Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, to unveil next generation iPhone. As October is coming near, the rumors have already started surfacing up, and we have started to get a picture of the Apple iPhone 5. According to a report published by AllThingsD, Apple will holding their next media event on campus in Cupertino instead of San Francisco.
No reason has been given but it may be to highlight the change of CEO and a venue closer to Apple’s home. No matter where it is it is definitely creating more publicity for the event. According to All Things D the reason could be that the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) was already booked or Apple did not risk such a larger venue since the release date was continuously moving. May be it is simply Tim Cook’s way of unveiling a new product.
In the past, Apple has held its big product launch events in San Francisco where iPad, iPad 2 as well as all iterations of the iPhone were unveiled. Apple’s Town Hall Auditorium has also been used on several occasions to preview upcoming versions of iOS to the press. Even more so, because Apple has announced all of its iPhones in San Francisco, so why should the iPhone 5 be any different?
Regardless of whatever might be the reason, we’ll be there to bring you the latest news from the iPhone 5 release event. So stay tuned with us as the iPhone 5 release date comes closer every single day.
