Since Google and Samsung called off their event (which was set to announce Ice Cream Sandwich and the next Nexus device on October 11th), the rumor mill has been going at full tilt. Eldar Murtazin, the Editor in Chief of Mobile-Review.com, has come forward and made bold claims for the reason; the notion that Google and Samsung delayed the release for reasons pertaining to patents does seem entirely plausible.
But now it is a real relief to hear that official wording is on its way. According to recent reports the new time and date for the event is October 19, Hong Kong (interested US residents should clear out the evening of Tuesday the 18th, time zones). This tip, of course, has not been confirmed, but with time ticking away until the alleged date, we’re sure to hear something soon either way.
