Samsung had announced their cross-platform communication service called ChatON in the month of August; the cross-platform mobile messaging app is now available in the Android Market. The app is essentially a group chat app that combines texts, images and video messaging can be used at present across various platforms including Android, bada and Samsung feature phones, but the company promises support for iOS and BlackBerry soon.
With ChatOn you’ll be able to make one-on-one chats, group chats, broadcasts, and send animation messages, pictures, videos, audio, location info, contacts, and calendar entries. The Android Market description also adds something about sending “animation” messages, which are created by drawing.
ChatON will enable users to have a 1:1 conversation, group chat and share multimedia content. ChatON currently supports over 25 languages.
