Sony Ericsson fans in Japan would be thrilled to hear this. The company has finally got PlayStation Certification for their Xperia Arc and Xperia Acro. Updates are going out via NTT DoCoMo that will enable handsets to download PS Suite games. Xperia Arc will be the first to get this update, and the Xperia Acro will get its update from November 15th onwards.
The update should allow Arc and Acro to owners enjoy the same catalog of PlayStation games that are currently available on the Xperia Play, which includes titles like Crash Bandicoot, WipEout and Syphon Filter. However the actual content in PlayStation store will not be available before December.
Along with that, users will also get a bundle including PO Box4.3, news widgets, Facebook inside Xperia 2.0, Native screenshot functionality, Xloud and Wireless tethering.
So if you aren’t housing in the island country, wait patiently. Sony is sure to get the update rolling over the seas fast.
