One day after announcing Google Music, the App has launched for the Google TV. Allowing you to sync your Google TV device with your Google Music account, removing the need for you to stream your media from your computer or download media to your HDTV. Google Music is available via the Android Market on Google TV; the App needs the Google TV 2.0 update, which brings the Android 3.1-based interface and support for third-party apps.
Since the Google Music app runs in the background, you can surf the web or watch a photo slideshow, all while listening to any music album at full volume. The app works the same way as on your computer, phone or tablet and gives those on the fence about Google TV one more mark in the “Pros” category. Google also promises that they’ll continue to improve your Google TV experience by way of future updates to the Google Music app along with other new apps coming to Google TV.
Head into the Android Market on Google TV to download the app.
