HTC’s upcoming tablet powered with the most powerful processor Kal-El NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad Core is just revealed in an image on PocketNow. Not only image but some of the specs have also been revealed. The 9mm thick Android tablet HTC Quattro (probably codename) will be powered with Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
Other specs leaked include the standard Ice Cream Sandwich and a 10-inch, 1280 x 768 LCD display. That’s the same size as HTC’s only 10-inch tablet so far, AT&T’s Jetstream. The HTC Quattro will also sport microSD expansion, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, a 2 MP rear camera with 1080p HD video recording support, a front-facing 1.3 MP camera with 720p HD video support. On the software side of things, besides a Sense version of Ice Cream Sandwich, the source is also claiming that the Quattro will receive an updated high-def version of HTC’s Watch movie store. The tablet is also expected to get Beats-infused for better audio quality. Two models include Wi-Fi version and Wi-Fi + 3G are expected to land at Mobile World Congress (MWC), in February 2012.
This beast tablet will be rocking for sure. After ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime, HTC could be the second device to sport Tegra 3 Processor.
