AT&T’s HTC Titan went up for sale online on Sunday for $199.99 with a new 2-year contract just as promised and it’s got the biggest screen on a Windows Phone handset, a 4.7” SLCD panel nested in a sleek, under 0.39” (10mm), unibody design. Microsoft unveiled AT&T’s latest Windows Phone devices, the Samsung Focus S and Flash at a special event in New York City and the HTC Titan was missing from the event.
The HTC Titan features latest Window Phone 7.5 Mango operating system with a fast 1.5GHz single-core processor and 16GB of internal storage. Cameras come in the form of an 8mp snapper on the back and a front-facing 1.3mp webcam. It runs on AT&T’s 4G, HSPA+ networks. It can be bought from AT&T here.
It was a busy weekend for the carrier as it saw the release of new Android Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablet that AT&T is offering online here. You can get it for a hefty $479.99 on contract, or $629.99 without commitment. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb, and features LTE connectivity.
