LG has confirmed the arrival of Ice Cream Sandwich for even more handsets. LG has posted an update to their Facebook page related to the latest Google platform, and specifying that the Optimus Black, Optimus 3D and Optimus LTE will all receive updates to Google’s latest OS, along with the Optimus 2X.

LG’s announcement follows those of HTC, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson, which have said they will be issuing updates to their latest smartphones.

No upgrade schedule has been disclosed yet, though it expects to publish more details next month. As always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
