
Samsung are currently said to be building an 11.6-inch Android tablet running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which may be rolled out at Mobile World Congress in February next year – earlier than Apple’s iPad 3; which is also has rumor to come with a display featuring a 2048 x 1536 resolution.
On the specs front, BGR says the device will get its power from 2GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 processor, and display a maximum resolution of 2560×1600 pixels with 16:10 aspect ratio. It will come with Samsung’s dual-core Cortex A15 chip. Moreover, the tablet will also feature Android beam, allowing it to sync media with a Galaxy Nexus.
The tablet will also feature Android Beam for syncing media with a Galaxy Nexus smartphone and wireless dock with HDTV units, along with a “special wireless docking mode” for gaming and other uses on high definition television sets as a rival to Apple’s AirPlay and Apple TV.
