Samsung has yet to make an official announcement on when its first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone the Galaxy Nexus will become available for purchase in India, but the news comes regarding straight from Samsung India’s official Twitter account that Galaxy Nexus is going to arrive in India in the last week of January. Other info, like pricing, we might have to wait for longer.
Likely, the Samsung galaxy Nexus was first expected to come in India as of December, for that Samsung India claims it has been rescheduled because of “too many product introductions” in December.
Powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor by Texas Instruments coupled with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB onboard memory, the Galaxy nexus will come with capability of connecting to fourth generation networks and delivering data speeds of up to 21 Mbps. It has a 4.65-inch Contour touchscreen display based on the Super AMOLED HD with 1280×720 pixel resolution support natively with 16:9 aspect ratios. Albeit, the device was also facing a ‘volume bug’, for which Google rolled out a fix earlier this month. And reportedly, Adobe has also released the Flash Player 11.1 for Android with added support for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
