
Following its earlier commitment to release Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade, Sony Ericsson today announced that Ice Cream Sandwich is coming to the 2011 range of Xperia smartphones, the roll-out of Android 4.0 expected to hit first batch include the XPERIA arc S, XPERIA neo V and XPERIA ray first, from the end of March or the beginning of April 2012, and after that the second batch of Xperia phones that will see the Android 4.0 update includes the Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia mini and mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active together with the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman media player.
When the update is good to go, 2011 Xperia smartphone owners will receive a notification instructing them to download the software. Alternatively, you have the option to download it via PC.
