Sony announced a couple of new Google TV devices at this year’s CES, the new Sony Network Media Player NSZ-GS7 and Blu-ray Disc Player NSZ-GP9, streamlining the remote and boosting cross-platform support.
Both these devices come with a touchpad with gesture navigation support along with voice control. And both include a redesigned remote that has 3-axis motion sensor, enabling both to play games downloaded from the Android Market. What’s more, the new remote supports multiple devices, effectively making it a free universal remote for your entire home theater.
Sony NSZ-GP9 Blu-ray player will be launched in the summer; on the other hand NSZ-GS7 media streamer will reach the stores in spring, while we’re not yet sure how the devices will be priced. Stay tuned for more info as we get more about Sony Google TV.
