Now that we know that the Motorola DROID 4 is coming, Verizon is doing their best to get rid of their current Motorola DROID 3 stock.
It’s still a solid device though it lacks LTE connectivity, making it too slow for modern geeks. That said, Verizon Wireless has slashed the phone’s price, introducing a promo discount of $100 to bring the cost down to $99.99 and should soon disappear from Verizon’s shelves all together. Of course, you’ll still have to put your signature on a new two-year contract but that’s like a given these days.
The Motorola DROID 3 was made available for purchase with a dual-core 1GHz application processor and a four-inch qHD display, along with an eight-megapixel photo snapper on the back.
If you’re looking for a good QWERTY keyboard phone and don’t care about locked boot loaders or 4G LTE, then this is undoubtedly a very good choice, you can buy the Droid 3 here at Verizon.
