This year’s CES was one of the best so far, Verizon was really on a roll this time around, announcing quite a lot of devices, yet there was one thing missing from every single one of those announcements – a release date. That’s right, we don’t know when most of those new devices will be coming out on the market, and however, there are few devices of Motorola we do know when it comes out – the Motorola Droid 4, the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX and the Purple Motorola Droid RAZR.

If you are planning to pick up the Motorola Droid 4, don’t be surprised if it becomes available at the end of this week on Thursday. We have discovered that Motorola has already started to cut the price of the Droid 3 and when something like this usually happens, it’s often the case that a manufacturer is getting ready to put new hardware on the market, and everyone will be aware and the Droid 4 is long overdue now.

As of Droid RAZR MAXX, Motorola has gone ahead to state January 26th as the date you will need to mark on your respective calendars if you want to bring home a little bit of Droid RAZR MAXX goodness – via Verizon Wireless, of course (Although, the landing page has been updated to show “Available Soon” instead of “Available 1/26″ as it was spotted by Androidandme previously), with the source of the information coming from Motorola’s own website via a landing page.

Furthermore, features the same specs sheet as the original RAZR model, including the design and layout, the purple version of the DROID RAZR; it appears that the folks over at Droid-Life managed to put their hands on an internal Verizon document, which confirms that the Droid RAZR purple will be launched on the 23rd of January on all channels with the black and white 16GB version of the Droid RAZR coming out on the same day.
If you are on the lookout for a new Motorola handset, which one is the more appealing to you?
