Sony’ Next Upcoming Android Smartphone Names and Prices Leak Along with Launch Timelines [Report]

Of course, this is a pretty big leak for Sony’s entire smartphone range for 2012, if documents in possession of GSMArena are legit. The sheet, which the site claims comes from Sony’s India sales report, has internal codenames, launch timeline and pricing for 11 unknown Android smartphones. We had already seen two launches at CES from the company in the form of Xperia Ion and Xperia S and more are coming at MWC next month.

The list has confirmed some rumoured handsets such as the Kumquat, Nypon and Pepper, and revealed eight new ones: Tapioca, Tapioca DS, Hayabusa, Atlas I, Mint I, Olive I, AFFM and Lotus. Of course, most of these are code names and the final product could be called something completely different.

The first phone to hit India this year will be the flagship Sony Xperia S. The device will be released in the country in March for Rs. 29,900, report claims (but we’re not sure).
