Motorola Xoom WiFi

U.S.A. Motorola Wi-Fi Xoom owners are getting the tasty frosty Ice Cream Sandwich update in phases which have been started already. This means that the tablet becomes one of the first to get Google’s latest and greatest software, which was also the first tablet to launch with Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS.

The software update will take your Xoom tablet to Android 4.0.3 and it will bring a ton of modifications along with a redesigned app launcher, a better web browser, resizable widgets and many other goodies to the tablet.

As of the 3G/LTE versions of Xoom not seeing an upgrade of ICS just yet – the networks will have to do their tests before approving anything after all.

Motorola Xoom WiFi Upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich is said to be approximately 81 MB in size and will crank up the version of the tablet to build version IML77. The update will arrive via OTA and as is the case with this type of update, your Motorola Xoom will let you know via a notification once the update hits your device and is already available for download and installation.
