Samsung’s two new trademark filings have surfaced – the company may have a couple of new smartphones in the works, which are for the Samsung Joy and the Samsung Fresh.

Both trademarks were registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and labeled as “telephones; smart phones; mobile phones; computer software for mobile phones, portable media players and handheld computers.”

Going by the names, we feel, the two devices will be entry-level Samsung handsets as the company normally adds the Galaxy tag to their Android smartphones. There are also chances that the phones might be come under the Windows Phone platform.

Samsung typically unveils several new handsets next month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Stay tuned for more.
