One handset that has got a lot of potential customers excited in the last couple of weeks is the Droid RAZR MAXX. The handset from Motorola promises to provide a great smartphone that will come will a good standard of battery life.

Recently, however, Motorola hinted that the Droid Razr Maxx would be out at Verizon on January 26, but quickly recovered by editing out the day and replacing the text with “available soon” and now with the same date we’ve got even more evidence that this is the handset’s launch date. Riding within the 130.7-by-68.9-by-8.99 millimeter form factor of the device is a powerful with 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP CPU ARM Cortex-A9 processor. Furthermore, RAZR MAXX houses 1GB RAM to complete, features 4.3-inch qHD screen, running Android 2.3 (a Ice Cream Sandwich update would be in the weeks ahead) and complemented by 1850mAh battery.
The Droid RAZR MAXX will cost you $299 premium which will require a new two-year contract.
