Earlier we reported a leaked render of what is reported to be the new LG X3, and now we have details of another new LG smartphone that is expected to be announced at MWC 2012 next month, the LG Optimus 3D 2 (an Optimus 3D successor).
The device is going with the codename CX2 and is believed to be replacing the Optimus 3D, which was the company’s first 3D capable smartphone. As Pocket Now is reporting the new device will offer an improvement over the auto-stereoscopic screen found on its predecessor. The LG Optimus 3D 2 will come sporting with 1.2GHz dual core processor, 4.3 inch 3D NOVA display, dual 5MP rear snapper for 3D recording, 8GB internal memory, and usual connectivity options. It will also be slimmer than the predecessor by around 2mm.
At the moment, no other details are available; we should have some more details next month. Stay tuned.
