
Phones 4U is set to be the first UK retailer to stock the latest Android fashion phone, the LG Prada 3.0, and it will be available on a choice of networks, from Friday 27 January.
Currently, it’s also the only place you’ll be able to pick the this mobile, which will be available free on contracts starting at just £31 a month. You can choose between Vodafone, O2 and Orange with the former, giving you 900 minutes and the latter 600 minutes, while they also let you get 3000 texts and 500MB of data. However, you’ll need to pay additional for a data bolt-on, which starts at £6 for 500MB.
The Prada phone by LG 3.0 has a stunning sleek black design and it is said to be the thinnest phone on the market at 8.5mm. The phone measures only 127.5 x 69 x 8.5mm.
It features a nippy 1GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB microSD cards and 1GB of RAM to play with. Its screen is a 4.3 inch, 800×480, one and it boasts a high brightness 800-nit NOVA display. You’ll get 1080p video capture and playback too. Also on board is HSPA+ support for download speeds of up to 21Mbps, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and a front-facing camera for making video calls.
The LG Prada 3.0 comes with Android Gingerbread, but an Ice Cream Sandwich update is said to hit in 2012.
