After less than a month on the market you can now score a brand new Samsung Galaxy Nexus for only $99 (via Amazon Wireless). This is $200 less than what Verizon is currently selling it for.
Unfortunately, the deal is only available to those of you who are willing to sign a new two-year contract. Those who are looking to upgrade need not apply.
The Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 version of Google’s Android operating system was just as anticipated as the handset itself, and marks the first time that that operating system has appeared in any mobile phone. If you are interested in picking a Galaxy Nexus, hit the source link here.
On a side note, many Canadian carriers have been rolling out the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for quite a while now but Mobilicity has just added their name to the mix. On their Twitter account they’ve made it known the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be available from them on February 6th. So this makes it less than 2-weeks away, but no word yet on price points. We are however hoping that pricing information will be made available (either officially or through a leak) soon. Until then, stay tuned.
