Many manufacturers have already begun to promise the latest Ice Cream Sandwich update for their existing range of popular products. Where, Samsung and Lenovo are also in queue.

Galaxy Note and Galaxy S II ICS Update

Samsung just revealed on its Samsung Norway Facebook page that Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note will get Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade by the end of the first quarter of 2012. Samsung Company has also stated that it will share more information once available on these updates.

Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet

As of Lenovo ThinkPad Android Tablet, it will get a treat of Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in the second quarter of 2012, Lenovo has confirmed. Specific dates weren’t given, but it should put the release at somewhere between 2 and 5 months from now, barring and delays, according to PCWorld. The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet first launched in July of 2011 without a lot of fanfare, despite its then-attractive price point of $479 and support for Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
