Okay! There is no Samsung Galaxy S III launch at MWC, but that does not mean Samsung will be sitting quietly. South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung seems determined to prove its supremacy on the smartphone market with yet another high-end device, the Galaxy S II Plus.
According to An3DBenchXL’s benchmark database, Samsung Galaxy S 2+ is expected to be a nice bump up from the original Galaxy S II, shown featuring a faster CPU clocking at 1.5GHz, a WVGA display, with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread on-board in tow.
And let’s not forget about the recently launched Galaxy S Advance, was the successor of the original Galaxy S as the Galaxy S II Plus is going to be of the original Galaxy S II, a nice bump in specs.
It will be interesting to see whether GS 2+ will pack TI OMAP 4470 processor, rumored to be a Galaxy Nexus Plus recently.
We’ll be sure to keep you posted if Samsung could come up with this device at MWC show, starting Feb 27th. Stay tuned.
