According to All Things D’ report, Apple is planning to launch its next generation iPad, dubbed as iPad 3, in the first week of March at a special event.
The event will likely be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, which traditionally houses Apple’s large announcements. We know, Apple announced its iPad 2 in the same time frame in 2011, so the timing makes sense.
We don’t even have official details of when the iPad 3 will be available, but we can expect the device within a week or two after the announcement.
However, the device has been rumored before to run on Apple’s new A6 processor (I’ve heard rumor that the A6 processor is not a quad core even), and the support of fastest LTE. The device also got hint to release on Amazon on March 29th, which likely worth to. The iPad 3 possibly might have a 2048×1536 Retina Display is the rumor everyone’s latching their hopes on to.
