Samsung just has revealed a tablet in its galaxy tab lineup, the Galaxy Tab 2, running on Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich the tab is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. The new tab is 10.5mm thick and weighs 344g.
New Android tab seems to have a pretty tame spec sheet as its predecessor. The 7 inch tablet is said to be the most affordable offering by the Korean company. It features a WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixels) PLS TFT LCD display, a 3 megapixel fixed focus rear-facing camera and VGA camera on the front. Other specs include 3G HSPA+ support, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, and USB 2.0 Host and WiFi b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct are also on-board. You can choose either 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD. Also featuring a 4,000mAh battery powered tab is coupled by 1GB of RAM. More features such as Samsung TouchWiz UI with Live Panel, Samsung Apps support, Hub support, S Suggest which is a real-time app recommendation engine, Kies Air, ChatON, Allshare Play are also included.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is expected to available worldwide in March and will cost 349EUR (463USD) for Wi-Fi only version and 429EUR (568USD) for the WiFi+3G version.
