Wave 3 looks similar to Wave 2 but have enhanced and powerful hardware and Bada 2.0 operating system. Thickness measures to 9.9mm and covered with brushed aluminium uni-body design. 4.0″ Super AMOLED screen makes it easy to work even in direct sunlight or viewing from cross angles.
Bada 2.0 catches up to other popular OS with TouchWiz UX, dynamic folder management, Wi-fi direct, multitasking, social hub etc. You get Samsung’s messenger ChatOn preinstalled with Wave 3. It offers most of the features of leading chat apps and worth trying out.
Hardware side includes 1.4Ghz processor under the hood. Powerful 5 MP camera allows you to take stunning snaps even in low light with the help of strong LED flash. It also includes front camera for video chat and calling purpose.
Samsung Wave Y is nothing but stripped down version on Wave 3 and presented as a low cost option to customers. It too features Bada 2.0 and available for just Rs. 7140. Main camera is 2.0 MP and front camera is absent. Processor speed is 832MHz and screen size is 3.2″ TFT LCD. Wave Y still contains enough features to keep you well organized and presents a decent option if you are on low budget.
