The next generation tablet from Apple has already expected for March release, while multiple reports indicate that the next iPad, dubbed as iPad 3, will be launched at March 7^th publicly, it will also come equipped with 4G LTE connectivity, on both Verizon and AT&T Wireless, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The other blog says it can confirm reports that the iPad 3 will have a quad-core processor, something that had been disputed by other sources. The new iPad 3 will also pack a retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and an Apple’ A6 processor, these specs are what we already heard rumors about.

The WSJ also claims that Apple is testing a version of the iPad that has a smaller screen than the current model. The new device is said to be a screen size of around 8-inches (similar rumor which surfaced in mid-December) and a resolution similar to the iPad 2′s 1024-by-768 display.

Apple, which has a policy of not commenting on rumors, did not respond to requests for comment though.
