The Mobile World Congress show is just weeks away right to the corner, a lots of rumors surfacing in, while the manufacturers trying to make a name for itself in the very competitive smartphone world, the Alcatel is also preparing a budget Android Smartphone.
Dubbed as Alcatel OT-915, the smartphone will arrive rocking Android 2.3 and a BlackBerry-baiting QWERTY keyboard. It has a 2.8-inch unit touchscreen with 240×320 pixels of resolution. Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Alcatel OT-915 is only 11.9 mm thick. Other features include 5MP back snapper, Wi-Fi, and an FM radio.
Alcatel is hoping its OT-915 will be able to shake things up a bit – though when it’ll arrive and how much it’ll cost are mysteries for the time being, but ElectricPig claims it will debut in the UK sometime before the end of this year, after making its first appearance at MWC.
