Aside from the Iconia Tab A700, Acer has another quad-core Android tablet, the Iconia Tab A510, to be released in France in March at the recommended retail price of EUR 399.00 ($499 USD), with the rest of Europe shortly after.
The Tab was showcased at CES event recently in Las Vegas. Powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor, the Iconia Tab 510 will run on Ice Cream Sandwich, and tipped to have better power management than its predecessor the A200. It’s a nice looking tablet with a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixels screen and a rather simple design, also featuring 32GB of storage (expandable via micro SD card), HDMI output, Dolby Mobile 3+ sound, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, 5MP back shooter, front camera and coupled by 1GB of RAM. The Tab measures 10.2″ x 6.9″ x 0.4″ and weighs about 1.5 pounds.
The Iconia Tab A510 also has a huge 9,800 mAh battery under the hood that should provide hours of usage, and will be available in black and silver and initially only the WiFi model will be for sale with announcements for the A511 coming later.
As soon as we get an exact launch date, we’ll keep you guys update.
