Some new details and images have emerged for the Samsung Rugby Smart, a rugged smartphone have some rugged and durable features. The device was supposed to launch on AT&T a few days ago, according to a report, but thing is, it didn’t.

The Rugby Smart is said to be packing Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 512MB of RAM, 1650mAh Li-Ion battery and AT&T HSPA+ 3G support, but nothing else is known at this point. According to rumors, it will be powered by the Samsung Hummingbird (Galaxy S) processor and be 1GHz single-core. The device will be available for no more than $100 USD with a new two-year agreement, if rumor holds true.
