Featuring a massive 4.7-inch True HD IPS LCD Plus touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution, 8.9mm thickness across the whole device, and a super-thin bezel around the screen, the new Optimus 4X HD phone is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor clocking at 1.5 GHz. The smartphone will run on Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Featuring SHSPA+ 21 Mbps support, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 16GB of storage capacity, an 8MP rear snapper, a 1.3MP front camera, the Optimus 4x HD smartphone is coupled by 1GB of RAM. The device carries a 2150 mAh battery to take care of habitual tasks without any hiccups.
The LG Optimus 4X HD will also have dedicated keys below the display, unlike the virtual keys on the Galaxy Nexus. The Optimus 4X HD has the ability to output video to HDMI via its own MHL port, DLNA support, and a brand new version of LG’s user interface over Android with as much customizability as you can handle. The phone will hit European market in the second quarter 2012, while all rest of information will be reveled at MWC show, which kicks off starting Feb 27th.
