The next-generation Apple iPad, dubbed as iPad 3, with 4G LTE and quad core processor is coming at an event in New York City next week, according to a tweet, which comes straight from CNBC‘s sources. The event will likely be held in a departure from the company’s typical major announcements that have taken place either in San Francisco or at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, according to reports.

The Apple iPad 3 will sport a higher-resolution 2048×1536 ‘Retina’ display, support of 4G LTE connectivity. The report claims that the iPad 3 will be powered by a quad core A6 processor, while I have heard rumor enough that upcoming iPad will be soured by a dual-core A5X processor, while we also suspect if Apple doesn’t give it a name, what we’re expecting.
