ZTE Era was not only the quad core device that ZTE unveiled, as the Chinese device manufacturer, has announced 4 new Android ICS tablets. While, two tablets including PF100 and T98 will be powered by quad core processor, other two tablets, namely V9S and V96, will feature only dual core processor.
Let’s talk about first two tablets: the ZTE PF100 and ZTE T98 (pictured above respectively), both comes equipped with Quad Core Nvidia T30S processor, clocked at 1.5Ghz, both tablets also featuring an Icera 450 modem for HSPA connectivity, a 5MP back snapper, 16GB of internal storage, Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich on board, and both are coupled by 1GB of RAM. While, the Quad Core ZTE PF100 Slate featuring a 10.1-inch display with WXGA resolution, the ZTE T98 tablet is equipped with 7-inch screen with same resolution, though it’s TD-SCDMA.
Rounding out the set is the ZTE V9S on the low end; this Android 3.2 powered tablet featuring a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The 10.1 inch tablet will only connect to GSM and UMTS networks, and won’t handle HSPA+.
Lastly, powered by a healthy dual-core Qualcomm processor, clocked at 1.7GHz, the ZTE V96 Ice Cream Sandwich powered tablet comes sporting a 5MP rear camera, a 1GB of RAM, 16GB of Storage, and HSPA+ in addition to LTE. It will pack Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
No words on pricing and availability, though we’ll keep you guys updated as we hear once. However, some of these tablets will hit US and Europe markets, possibly as early as Q2.
