It seems like now it’s time for Nokia to foray into the tablet PC market. Nokia will introduce a Windows 8 tablet in Q4 2012, if rumors are to be believed. The new tablet will be a 10 inch device and would be among the first to use Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system.
Quoting Digitimes, the report said that Nokia will outsource the manufacturing of its Windows 8 tablet to Taiwan-based Compal Electronics with the first batch of shipments to top 200,000 units.
The new Nokia Windows 8 Tablet is also rumored to sport a Qualcomm’s dual-core processor, though Nokia officials refused to comment on the same. Other manufacturer such as ASUS, Samsung, Dell, Lenovo and Acer also have been in lime light to unveiling Windows 8 Tablet. Stay tuned for more, we’ll keep our ears to the ground as it does.
