Unveiled a few days ago at Apple’s event along with Apple New iPad, the new Apple TV was all set to hit the store on March 16th, exactly when the New iPad does so. Now we heard some reports which claim that some customers already began receiving shipping notifications of the Apple TV, which shown the item was scheduled to be delivered in the U.S. a day early, on Thursday, and the new TV is hitting some doors by today indeed, maybe the fact that some Apple TV units are hitting doorsteps will give you the same hope.
The new Apple TV features a high-definition 1080p video capability, as well as a new custom single-core A5 processor to play with. 1080p programming available for the Apple TV will include iTunes movies and TV shows, Netflix, Vimeo, photos and more. And with an updated iTunes in the Cloud, customers will be able to play movies and TV shows bought on the iTunes Store instantly on their Apple TV. Apple TV users will be able to choose from over 15,000 movies and more than 90,000 TV episodes on the iTunes Store.
