I know that some people out there, especially those casual users of the Samsung Galaxy S II, have been waiting for the official Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich update, which was officially confirmed for this handset by Samsung, a few days ago.
While the update itself is only available in Europe and South Korea, any international version of the i9000 can apply it.
This source code will give developers the code necessary to create custom ICS kernels as well as port ICS over to other Galaxy S 2 variants like the AT&T Galaxy S II. This will also help greatly in the development of CM9.
The files and libraries included in the release will provide enthusiasts with the option to improve aspects of the device, including battery life, processor overclocking and more.
To grab the Ice Cream Sandwich Source Code for yourself, head over to the source link and type “i9100” in the search box.
