A new yet to be released LG Android smartphone has been spotted online. Codenamed LG Optimus LTE P936, the new phone was reportedly popped up on FCC recently. Now spotted online over at GSM Dome site, the phone exists indeed, and we have more information regarding the new device.
According to the rumor, to be powered by a 1.5GHz processor (no mention of core count but we suspect a dual core one), the new LTE P936 phone will be equipped with a 4.6 inch (720p) display with a pixel density of 320 ppi. Other rumored specs include an 8MP camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, as well as LTE connectivity.
The P936 will be an LTE-enabled gadget of some sorts, and FCC paperwork also revealed testing on standard AT&T 2G frequencies for the LG Optimus LTE P936; so clearly, this is not a phone intended for release in the US and we suspect it will be released in Europe, that’s just my assumption. Unfortunately, we don’t have much information about its more tech specs and features. Until we hear more about this relatively new handset, do stay tuned with TS. Also watch the P936 as benchmarked in the video below after the break.
