BlackBerry PlayBook 4G

Recently we were kept promising that RIM will be releasing a 4G version of their BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, and now some actual images of the slate have been emerged, which were posted to the CrackBerry forums.

However, RIM revealed in the past that it will be bringing WiFi, 3G/HSPA+ and 4G PlayBooks coming in the future — but the Wi-Fi-only model was the only RIM tablet ever to see release.

Judging by the image (shown above), you can see the ‘mobile network’ icon on the settings screen. In the other photo (below) you can also see the SIM card slot, located next to the charging port, HDMI out slot and other ports. The OS will likely be the BlackBerry 10 to run with, if recent report holds true.

For the time being, there are no other details were emerged on exactly when RIM intend to release the BlackBerry PlayBook 4G, though we’ll be sure to keep you guys posted, when it does.
