While Apple fans in India, Israel, Colombia, Estonia, South Africa, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, and Thailand will get the tablet on April 27th, as of today the new Apple slate is available in South Korea and 11 other markets include Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St. Maarten, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
The folks in South Korea now can get the tablet for 620,000 won ($545 US) for the 16GB WiFi version, according to South Korean Apple Store site.
Talking about iPhone 4 and 4S, the both smartphones arrive today on five local US carriers: including Alaska Communications, GCI, nTelos Wireless, Appalachian Wireless, and MTA (Matanuska Telephone Association) Solutions. They all have both handsets for around $50 and $150 respectively with a two-year contract.
Meanwhile, the U.S’ online website reseller Alaska Communications is a step further from all major carries, offering an even better deal: the 16GB iPhone 4S is free for subscribers who commit to a three-year agreement.
