Back in late February, LG officially unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Optimus 4X HD. Now the handset has gotten a release time frame sometimes in next month for Europe, just in time to go against its Korean rival’s flagship Galaxy S III.
The official release date is set for June for a number of European countries like Germany, Sweden, Great Britain, Italy and Poland; while the rest of the other countries in Asia and South and Central America are in line for a launch in coming months.
Packing a big 4.7-inch 720p IPS LCD display, the LG Optimus 4X HD is powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, as well as 8 MP/1.3 MP dual cameras, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of on-board memory.
Nonetheless, the Optimus 4X HD is a solid piece of technology, and has a big enough 2,150mAh battery and runs on the latest of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich.
Pricing is still unknown at this point, but some European retailers are already listing the Optimus 4X HD at €499. Though, we’ll keep you guys updated with latest one.
