I know that some of you guys out there, especially those casual users of the Samsung Galaxy Note, have been waiting for the official Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich update. So finally it’s here, the Galaxy Note Ice Cream Sandwich update in India is official and is available to download, so is ready for action.
However, the update for Galaxy Note GT-N7000 is being rolled out via OTA (Over-The-Air), but some users are reportedly not receiving the update notification. To mitigate this issue, I suggest users should try plugging their device to the desktop via the Samsung KIES Air application.
The new build will bring not only tasty Ice Cream Sandwich to your device, but also TouchWiz UI, updated S-Note app and S Memo widget will be available. Apart from the other usual improvements, the new update brings a new series of S Pen supporting widgets which are clubbed together to form a Premium Suite.
So now you should update your Phablet with whooping 318MB using Wi-Fi otherwise you might incur significant data charges. If you have managed to get the ICS update for your hybrid Note, sounds off in comments box and lets us know.
