Unveiled back in February, the 7 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 has been available on Preorders in India from company’s official online store for some time now and, the Samsung, today, has officially launched the new tab for Indian markets.
Also known as the Galaxy Tab 2 310, the slate has been priced at INR 23,250, while some selected retailers have already started selling it for lower price tag on their online stores, like the Buytheprice.com. While the Flipkart and LetsBuy both have yet to stock this new tablet.
The slate is shipping with Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich OS out of the box and TouchWiz UX user interface.

Some exclusive features in the tab also include Samsung’s Readers Hub, which gives users access to more than 2 million e-books, 3,500 magazines in 25 languages and more than 2,000 newspapers in 51 languages; and the Game Hub that instantly connects users to the latest game titles and ‘My Movies’ that gives consumers access to more than 500 full movies and more than 2,500 music videos. There’s also a 4000 mAh battery that boosts it upto 30 hours talk time in 2G.
Company has also partnered with Tata Docomo to provide 3GB of free data download to Tab 2 310 buyers over a 3 month period.
