Samsung Galaxy S3 Availability
Samsung, today, officially revealed that despite concerns about the Galaxy S III stock delays; the company’s flagship smartphone is on sale now in 28 countries from today, with plans to increase that number to 145 countries with 296 mobile carriers worldwide by July, according to Samsung Tomorrow.
The new phone will go on sale in the UK, France, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Europe and the Middle East and Africa today. While India will get the handset on May 31. And it will be available in a 16GB and 32GB version initially with a 64GB version to be released at a later date this year.
Featuring a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720) HD Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy S3 also sports more computing power that supports voice commands and an eye-movement tracking feature to keep the screen from dimming that make it easier to share content with friends, make calls and find new information. Other pretty nice specs include a quad core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, an 8MP rear snapper and of course Android 4.0.
However, while Samsung has managed to officially reveal the Galaxy S 3 and bring it to market in under a month, that process hasn’t been without headaches as the Pebble blue version of the handset is nowhere to be found at the time being and its US and Canada launch is still help up in the air, although rumors suggest a June 20th release. Though we’ll keep you updated if any information becomes available.
